King Family Reunion 2014 Part Three

The place we always stay has this sad little water park that we never go to when we're down here.  It's pretty expensive and there's not much to it, but the regular pool was radioactive or something so we all got free passes.  The kids (and Mike Smith- I saw you flying down the water slides with your grandkids!) loved it

It is so great that we have made sure these kids could grow up with a ton of cousins like we got to.  We all had so much fun with each other.  Yes, they are second (?) cousins,but we don't tell them that.  They all have such a blast together.  To make sure they get a lot of time together, so we let them all, I mean ALL, sleep on the floor in Dick and Joyce's room (How in the WORLD did we get away with that???)

Getting these kids to calm down for bed time is a ridiculous task, so I pulled out the best book ever - (The True Story of the Three Little Pigs- if you have kids and don't own this book, buy it now) Worked like a charm.

Joyce & Dick's 35th Wedding Anniversary-2003

This was such a fun night. We all trekked it up to Solon for a surprise anniversary party for Joyce and Dick. The Barta kids put together a great party of their friends and family. Only Joyce and Dick could have 20 surprise overnight guests and be great about it.
